“A Journey of Growth, Leadership, and Vision”
Introduction
With over 32 years of diverse professional experience across manufacturing, IT, and global markets, I’ve had the privilege of working in roles that span production, sales, delivery, and ecosystem development. My journey has taken me across continents—from Australia and China to the Middle East and Europe—giving me a unique multicultural perspective and a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in today’s interconnected world.
Professional Background
I began my career in manufacturing, spending 12 years mastering the value chain from production to sales. Over the next two decades, I transitioned into the IT industry, where I led teams, built partnerships, and drove growth in software products and services companies. Whether as a follower or a leader, I’ve experienced the full spectrum of professional life—hiring, firing, winning, losing, and learning through both triumphs and challenges.
Personal Philosophy
Sports have been a constant in my life, teaching me invaluable lessons about resilience, teamwork, and humility. Golf, badminton, cricket, and chess aren’t just hobbies—they’re platforms that have shaped my character and kept me mentally and physically fit. Sports remind us that losing is part of the journey, and winning is just a small percentage of the attempts we make. These lessons have deeply influenced my approach to business and life.
Why Visionary Steps?
“I founded Visionary Steps to share the insights and experiences I’ve gathered over the years. My motivation can be summed up in three beliefs:
‘I wish I knew then what I know now’—I want to help others avoid the pitfalls I encountered and accelerate their growth.
‘Everyone can play golf—it’s not a privilege of the rich or elderly’—I aim to make golf and its networking benefits accessible to all.
‘Achieving financial independence, retiring early, and living a fulfilling life isn’t as difficult as you think’—I want to empower others to take control of their financial and personal futures.
